Jamestown Island is located in the Historic Triangle of Virginia. Jamestown is seven miles from Colonial Williamsburg down the Colonial Parkway. Currently three institutions interpret Jamestown: the APVA, the National Park Service, and Jamestown Settlement. The archaeologists dig from April through October and the laboratory can be observed year round.
