From Interstate 64: Take Exit 242-A (Route 199 to Jamestown). Drive approximately 3 miles on Route 199 to the second traffic signal. Turn right for access to the Colonial Parkway to Jamestown. Drive to the Jamestown National Park Service entrance station at the end of the Parkway. From Williamsburg: Take the Colonial Parkway to Jamestown. Drive to the Jamestown National Park Service entrance station at the end of the Parkway. Admission fee includes: Jamestown Rediscovery archaeological site and laboratory, " Old Towne" and Visitor Center, loop road and glass house. Current fee is $8 per person over 16 and tickets are good for seven days. Jamestown entrance gate hours: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (5:30 p.m. summer) daily, except Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Once admitted visitors may remain on the grounds until dusk. Historic Triangle Shuttle: The Historic Triangle Shuttle, running daily from May 27 through September 5, connects visitors to Jamestown, Williamsburg and Yorktown free of charge. An admission pass to one of the attractions is all that is needed. Schedule and Details Jamestown Settlement, located just off the Colonial Parkway, includes a modern recreation of the fort, replicas of the three ships and a recreated Powhatan Indian village, as well as gallery exhibits. A separate fee is required. |
