Weblin House SOLD Virginia Beach c. 1700
Probably built c. 1700 for John Weblin, this house is a fine example of the 'Virginia' style of vernacular architecture. The house boasts massive chimneys and a hall-parlor plan. The roof was changed from gable to gambrel in the 1750s.The Weblin House is listed on the Virginia Landmarks Register and the National Register of Historic Places. The building is under protective easement with the Virginia Department of Historic Resources.
