1999 Interim Field Report

1999 Interim Field Report The 1999 Field Report covers the 1999 field season. It includes information on recently excavated features including ditches, palisades, human burials, and a building with a large cellar. A synopsis of all major features excavated from 1994 to 1999 is found along with a material summary. A collection of artifacts focusing on interactions with Native Americans is also presented.

This is one in an ongoing series of technical interim reports covering the Jamestown Rediscovery project. It is intended as a summary of a single season's excavations and all conclusions are tentative.
