1997 Interim Field Report

The 1997 Field Report covers the 1997
field season. It includes information on the southeast
bastion of James Fort and an early look at a mid-century
building. A collection of artifacts from a large sealed
context is also examined.
This is one in an ongoing series of technical interim
reports covering the
Jamestown Rediscovery project. It is intended as a summary of a single season's
excavations and all conclusions are
tentative.
The report is in Adobe PDF format so you will need to
have Acrobat reader to view and print the report.
