1996 Interim Field Report

The 1996 Field Report covers the 1996
field season. It includes the reasoning behind the
discovery of James Fort and coverage of the recently
discovered skeleton.
This is one in an ongoing series of technical interim
reports covering the
Jamestown Rediscovery project. It is intended as a summary of a single season's
excavations and all conclusions are
tentative.
