The Yeardley House

The Yeardley House
This house was built as a director's residence in 1907 and given to the APVA by the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution. It is named for Sir George Yeardley (1587-1627), three times Governor of Virginia.

The Yeardley House currently houses the project's offices and has an annex that contains the laboratory and vault holding the collections of Jamestown Rediscovery. Come visit us as we continue to rediscover Jamestown's past and seek to reveal "The Buried Truth" of the birthplace of America.
